I am a qualified Art Therapist with over 25 years of experience working with children and young people within school settings. I offer a warm, supportive and person-centred approach. Creating a safe space where individuals can feel listened to, understood and accepted without judgement.
I am HCPC registered and a member of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT). I also hold a full enhanced DBS certificate, a MA in Art Psychotherapy and a Degree in 3D Design (Ceramics). I truly believe that engaging in creative work is essential for my own mental health and overall well-being. As a passionate ceramicist, I love spending time in my nearby studio—whether I'm throwing pots on the wheel or hand building sculptures of cats, birds, and woodland creatures. This process provides a natural boost to my mood, self-esteem, and sense of personal accomplishment.
Throughout my career, I have supported young people with a wide range of emotional and mental health needs, including anxiety, low self-esteem, school-related pressures, emotional regulation, and difficult life experiences. My approach is tailored to each individual, helping them explore thoughts and feelings through creativity, at ones own pace.
My studio is based in central Bristol at Willway Yard, Willway St, Bedminster, Bristol BS3 4AZ. Parking is available.
